Setup: Includes sample of your image on ordered material at final output size for proofing prior to production. One hour of pre-flighting is included in the setup; minor type setting, sizing, or cleanup is generally completed in the first hour. Major cleanup and other work requiring more than one hour will be billed at $75 (R) per hour.
Please supply high quality "match to" outputs for 4-color images, PMS colors or swatches for spot colors.
Crucial copy and signatures should be 1/4” from trim.
Please add 1/8" bleed to all sides.
All 4- color pixel artwork (Photoshop or image application renderings) should be supplied to actual size at no less than 300 dpi. If physical file size (megabytes/gigabytes) is an issue for transport, please contact your customer representative and we will advise you on best approach.
All Art, other than vector art, should be supplied at a minimum of 600dpi.
Smallest Optimum size for copy is 12 point. Some fonts require a larger point size or bolding if reverse copy is needed. We cannot be responsible for reproduction of type less than specified. When possible, please provide type as "outlines". If it is necessary to mix Truetype and Postscript fonts, also please convert type to outlines. If outlined fonts are not an option for you, please provide fonts (both screen and printer fonts). If typesetting is necessary, please specify type and font size. Due to the vast number of existing fonts, we may not have the requested font in-house. If so, additional charges will be incurred.
Electronic Files/Media
We accept MAC files created with or editable by QuarkXPress® 6 or lower, Adobe Photoshop® CS or lower, Adobe Illustrator® 10 or lower, and InDesign®.
Every file used to create the final piece must be included, including all original linked files.
All screen and printer fonts must be included.
Documents should be created 100% to size, but can be a percentage of size as long as sufficient resolution is provided.
All files should be RGB.
We can read and/or write to CD or DVD.
We accept PC files created with or editable by QuarkXPress®, Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator®, In Design® and Corel Draw®.
Spot Colors
Only use coated PMS selections for PMS color matches.
